Rushing to Brad and Angelina's Jet!

Well my day started early today about 5:15 am this morning. I had to go buy fruit this morning that’s why I was up so early. The weather was not too bad this morning kind of warm usually it‘s really cold at that time but not today. The freeway was not too bad up until a certain point there was an accident so I was slightly delayed for a while. I picked up the fruit made it back to the office in good time. We had an early morning delivery it had to be there before 9am.

So I was back out on the road again by 8am to make my first delivery. And folks you never guess who this one was for….. It was for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. This arrangement was to accompany them on there flight to where ever they were going. They were all blown away with the exquisite arrangement and had never seen such a beautiful edible thing like this before. So once again the staff at Fruits To Remember did a really great job. And we had another very satisfied customer.

Meeting Lionel Richie

December 23rd:
Saturday morning

Today was going to be a normal busy day for us here. I arrived at the office early in the morning and did my normal routine. Everything was on time and running smooth as usual. Hey what can I say we are the best lol. As I was going through my list of deliveries I came across a very familiar name Lionel Richie. Yes I said Lionel Richie the great singer. Mr. All Night Long Mr. Say You Say Me himself. Well you could imagine how excited I was.

I’ve been a fan of Mr. Richie’s since childhood. So I couldn’t wait to make his delivery. Prior to making his delivery I was to pick up a gift for him coming from his number one fan club. Music Notes was the store and is where there I met women who use to work for Motown music. Can you believe my luck I was getting two treats today. The lady’s store was nice and had some nice memorabilia. We spoke for a while about Motown being that I’m a big Motown fan.

Once I left there I was on my way to Mr. Richie’s house. As I approached his neighborhood I was hit with great shock. The street he lived on was closed due to some traffic emergency. Now what I thought to myself . I pulled over and thought of my next move. I made an attempt to go around but there was no way. I attempted to walk but that didn’t work either. So I had no choice but to go back to the office with everything and try again later.

12:30 pm: I just made my second attempt and it was unsuccessful.
3:30 pm: My third attempt and still unsuccessful.

5:30 pm: Finally I made it to Mr. Richie’s house.

I approached his front gate and rang the buzzer but there was no answer. Buzzed it again still no answer I thought great no ones home after all this. I waited another minute and buzzed it one more time. Finally a man answered I stated my business and was let onto the property. Boy O boy you never guess who answered the door. It was Mr. Richie himself.

He opened the door and saw the gifts and invited me into his house. So there I was standing in Lionel Richie’s house and holding a conversation with the main man himself. He expressed how much he really really liked the fruit bouquet. He thought it was incredible and had never seen anything like it. He asked where it was from and I told him it’s from Fruits To Remember in Beverly Hills. He also liked the car I was driving. Overall we held about a ten minute conversation. We said our goodbyes and I was on my way. Mr. Richie was one of the nicest celebrities I have met.
