The Majestic Ocean Fruit Bouquet Delivery...

Yesterday I had the distinct pleasure of delivering a fruit bouquet to Pacific Palisades. It was a magnificently beautiful drive up the coast. The sights, sounds, and weather were pristine. The destination was on top of this marvelous hill in the Palisades. The view was breathtaking. The only thing that could compare with that marvelous view was the “Love Handbag” that I was about to deliver! It was a very cute ceramic bag full of lovely semi-sweet, white and strawberry chocolate covered strawberries for a soon-to-be surprised young lady. Last week I had the pleasure of delivering a fanciful edible fruit bouquet to none other that Sean "P Diddy" Combs. American Idol David Archuleta receives Fruitful Trophy

Last week, the F2R delivery vehicle was summoned to deliver a fabulous Fruitful Trophy edible fruit bouquet arrangement to American Idol contestant, David Archuleta. It was the final contest day and the press and paparazzi were swarming the Nokia Theatre at the Staples Center as I pulled up to a crowd of people who were watching former Idol has-been (Justin Guarini) taping an interview for later re-broadcast. There were throngs of people everywhere; I suspected it might be a challenge to find the designated area to deliver the prize-winning gift to David Archuleta... Eventually, a woman approached me looking quite official with her walkie-talkie and multiple ID badges. She offered to take the bouquet herself to David Archuleta's trailer. "Wow, this thing is heavy!" she said. I watched her saunter off behind security gates as the Fruitful Trophy was admired by other officials. A Memorable Mother's Day at Fruits To Remember

Mother’s Day was very busy for the entire staff at Fruits To Remember.. The day began at 5am, beginning with picking up fresh fruit from the market downtown. We had many deliveries throughout the greater Los Angeles area and there were many unique delivery requests. Our commitment to customer service satisfaction was put to the test when the first fruit bouquet delivery of the day was scheduled for 5:30 in the morning! It’s a safe bet the early-rising recipient was the first person in Los Angeles to receive a luxury fruit arrangement on Mother's Day.

The F2R delivery vehicle visited many new destinations within Los Angeles on Mother’s Day, and many drivers and pedestrians smiled and pointed at the delicious-looking fruit graphics on our delivery vehicle as we passed them by on the freeway or on the streets. While in traffic in Beverly Hills, a gentlemen passenger in a stately Rolls Royce waved at me as the traffic slowed and he slowly rolled down his window. I thought he was going to ask if I had any Grey Poupon, but instead he politely asked if I had any fruit samples, right there in traffic! I did not have any samples at the time and I smiled and laughed and handed him a brochure and we moved forward in traffic.

April 24 was Barbra Streisand’s birthday! It was very exciting knowing there was a slight possibility of meeting Barbra Streisand as I drove to her seaside home. It was a beautiful, sunny California morning as I headed north up Pacific Coast Highway toward Malibu. I approached the main gate to Barbra Streisand’s Seacliff home and rang the intercom buzzer. I heard a woman’s voice and she asked who I was. I anxiously waited at the gate for somebody (Barbra?) to receive the bouquet of chocolate-covered strawberries. Of course, it was naïve of me to think that Barbra Streisand would answer her gate herself, but one never knows. Her assistant eventually came to the gate to greet me and she received the Choco Berry Bouquet on Barbra’s behalf. The senders of the fruit arrangement (friends of Barbra) must have felt it was important to send the very best...to the very best! Can you believe it? Sylvester Stallone of Rocky & Rambo fame walked into our Beverly Hills showroom today! I said to him, “I've got no guns on me, Rambo!” He smiled reassuringly and said all was okay. I showed him our design showroom, he looked at our fruit arrangements and tasted some freshly cut fruit, and we offered him some fresh Valrhona chocolate-dipped apple wedges for him to sample. He enjoyed the fruit very much and he instantly became a fan of our custom-designed edible fruit bouquet sculpture arrangements. He savored the fresh taste of our hand-selected cut fruit and admired the beauty of the fruit bouquet arrangements being prepared for delivery. He chatted a bit with our design staff and was kind enough to have his picture taken in our design room and said we could use the photo in our blog! He eventually ordered a Celebration To Remember fruit bouquet arrangement with cappuccino, dark and milk chocolate-covered strawberries. Sylvester Stallone left the Fruits To Remember showroom a very happy man!

Another recent celebrity delivery included Lionel Richie, who recently received a Lifetime Achievement award. Fruits To Remember fresh fruit bouquet arrangements and fruit sculptures were featured at the gifting lounge recently at the 2008 Asian Excellence Awards show held at UCLA on April 23, 2008. Our enticing fresh-fruit bouquet arrangements and chocolate-dipped fruit displays tempted celebrity guests as they were escorted into the gifting lounge. Guests who admired and sampled the Fruits To Remember masterpieces included the evening’s hosts, singer-dancer Carrie-Ann Inaba, and comedian Bobby Lee. Others included Tony award-winner B.D. Wong, Sharon Leal (Dream Girls), comedian Rex Lee, actress-model Bai Ling, and two-time Emmy nominated professional dancer, Cheryl Burke. The aroma of fresh cut fruit and fine Valrhona chocolate was appreciated by many, and our chocolate-covered strawberries quickly vanished from the F2R sample tray. Soon, guests were savoring strawberries from the fruit bouquet arrangements, taking delight in admiring the arrangements and then picking their favorite chocolate-covered strawberry to nibble. Smiles were everywhere and many also commented on our collectible and stylish fruit bouquet arrangement containers. Apl from the Black-Eyed Peas couldn’t resist our tempting Choco Berry display and made several return trips to pluck a chocolate-covered or white chocolate-covered strawberry directly from the fruit arrangement! Happy belated Easter everybody! As usual we were busy for the holiday. Everyone wanted their fresh fruit arrangement from us. Yesterday was a perfect day for our fresh fruit to be Eaton. The weather was perfect - not too hot, not too cold. So, our refreshing fruit bouquets were the perfect thing to have at your BBQ or picnic family gathering. Our beautiful arrangements graced many tables yesterday...once again Fruits To Remember came to the rescue for many people who were looking for that unique item to bring to the party.

Hello everyone, I know its been some time since I last posted. Fruits To Remember has been keeping me busy. We did an event for the Oscars which was kind of cool, and just recently we participated in the Women's Health Expo which was a lot of fun. We had a few fresh arrangements there on display and for sampling. We had the Love handbag, Harley Berry, the Utlimate Choco Berry and much more. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our fruit and chocolate-covered fruit displays. Indeed, it has been busy the past few months here at F2R.

Good Old Oscar

Wow! I got to work an event that Fruits To Remember was a part of. The event was the gifting lounge for the Oscars on Sunday. It was very exciting to see all the stars. Everyone loved our fresh fruit arrangements. They especially loved our chocolate covered strawberries. The lounge was set up with all types of vendors giving away free stuff to the celebrities. Tia Mowrey from Sister really enjoyed how we had our arrangements set up. She thought our concept was a really great idea. It was a very hectic day as far as setting up and getting started, but once everything was set in place, it was an exciting time.

Valentines Day part 2

Well I'm still alive.... Valentines day was a great success. We were so busy it was incredible. We had a lot of same day orders which is always good. My day started early in the morning and didn't end until late that evening. I dipped so many chocolate covered strawberries that if i never see another one again i think I'd be ok. LOL

Our new fruit bouquets were a very big hit. Everyone really enjoyed the Love HandBag, HarleyBerry and all of our new arrangements. We here at fruits to remember did a fantastic job. We were very busy with making the fruit arrangements but we were well organized so that it made it much easier and smooth. The traffic was not too bad. It had its moments where it got kind of hectic. But overall everything went off well. Now it's time to prepare for the next big event. So everyone stay tuned....

Well the rain has seem to have moved on which is great. Im still getting prepared for the big valentines rush that we are going to get. Espeacially those last minute customers who forgot about the holiday. This week seems like it could be actually begining to the holiday.We have been gettiing a lot of customers calling interested in our new fresh arrangements. We finally got a break from this rain but it's only a little break. Were supposed to be getting more rain this weekend. Which is something im not looking forward too. The deliveries this week have gone smooth not to much excitement. Everyone seems to enjoy our new fruit arrangements. The Unforgettable Bouquet for that special gal and for the guys we have Romantic Expression Bouquet both are equally cute. I can't believe that we are already going into Febuary and valentines is right around the corner. While the staff at fruits to remember is preparing for the big holiday. There still hard at work in creating new fresh fruit arrangements for all to enjoy.

Well there seems to be an end to this rain soon. The past few days have been really wet. So it's made my delivery process of the fruit bouquets a little difficult. The month of january seems to have gone by very fast. Now we have valentines day just right around the corner. We have a few new arrangemants for this holiday. We have the handbag of love which is very cute for that special person. But i have to say my favorite new fruit arrangement is the HarleyBerry. That fruit bouquet is going to be a big success amungst the other ones we have out. The fruits to remember team have been working really hard at creating new arrangements for everyone to enjoy.

Another Valentines Day!!

Wow!!! what a busy day i had today. I delivered 11 fruit arrangements in this great weather that we were having. It was raining on and off today which made LA traffic a mess. The Valentines rush is slowly starting already. Everyone seems to be starting early this year with there gifts for there loved ones. We have so many new arrangements for this holiday. All our customers seem to really enjoy all of our new creations of the fruit bouquets we have out now. Well let's see if i survive this valentines day lol.

HAPPY 2008!!!

Happy 2008 everyone! Well i survived the holiday season here at fruits to remember. We very very busy for Christmas and the new years holiday. The new fruit bouquets that were created for this holiday were a big hit. We received positive feed back from everyone who ordered our arrangements. Now its time for us to focus on our next big holiday which is of course Valentines day. I can't even imagine how busy we are going to be. Last year is still a blur to me cause we were so busy.
